What Are You Letting Food Or Body Thoughts Sabotage In Your Life?

Back when I was counting calories trying to be a "good", "healthy eater" I thought about my body and what I was eating almost all of the time.

This SUCKED because I wanted to do some pretty big things in the world.

At one point I was starting the application process of joining the Peace Corps. Who knows if I would have actually followed through if the food & body thoughts weren't so intense?

On an everyday level- I felt like I couldn’t be fully present in conversations.

I’d avoid events, dates, girls’ nights...so many things if I was bingeing or having a bad body day.

Sometimes I’d even skip work (Truth...ever been there??)

When I finally hit my own rock bottom and began discovering Intuitive Eating- I felt like I got my life back.

Because I could finally feel comfortable, confident, and at peace in my body WITHOUT constantly thinking about food.

Which gave me all of this freedom in my mind and my life to start doing things that I loved- trying new things that I didn't even consider.
